In result of the announcement of Dr. Warner’s retirement, Thayer County Health Services has partnered with Mary Lanning Healthcare and Morrison Cancer Center to bring a new, highly skilled oncology team on site. Thayer County Health Services is dedicated to offering advanced treatment and support for cancer patients. The team, which will officially join the hospital later this month, promises to bring a wealth of expertise in cutting-edge therapies, research, and compassionate patient care.
The oncology team will be led by Dr. Soe Min Tun and Leslie Kathman, APRN. The new team members bring with them the latest advancements in cancer treatment and are committed to tailoring treatment plans to meet the individual needs of their patients.
“Our Morrison Cancer Center team is excited to be able to reach out to patients and their families in Thayer County,” Dr. Tun said. “We are committed to providing high quality, individualized care and innovative treatments. In addition to meeting basic treatment needs, our team cares about patient wellbeing and making patients feel like they are a part of our MCC family.”
The new oncology team highlights Thayer County Health Services’ commitment to enhancing healthcare support and meeting the needs of cancer patients in the community. TCHS’s senior leadership is particularly excited about the new team’s ability to offer a personalized, patient-centered approach.
“Cancer treatment is not just about medical procedures, it’s about the person,” said Brian Rokusek, TCHS’s CEO. “We are proud to have a team that not only delivers the latest in medical science but also cares deeply about making the journey as smooth and supportive as possible for each patient.”
As Thayer County Health Services continues to invest in state-of-the-art care, the partnership with Morrison Cancer Center and the new oncology team reinforces its commitment to providing the highest standard of healthcare for all its patients.
