Acute care is short-term treatment for injuries, illnesses, urgent conditions, or recovery after surgery. It’s different from long-term or chronic care.
At TCHS, we offer acute care in our 17-bed facility, and also at our clinics—so patients can get care for minor issues without needing to visit the Emergency Room.
Our team—including providers, nurses, social workers, and therapists—works together to give each patient personalized, high-quality care. Our goal is to help patients recover and go home as soon as they’re healthy and stable.
We also have hourly patient rounding during the day. This means nurses and staff will check on you every hour to make sure you’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for. We know how important trust, clear communication, and compassionate care are during your stay.
