Thayer County Health Services is proud to offer a fully equipped, Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance as a vital community benefit. This in-house service ensures our patients receive timely care, especially in critical situations where rapid transport to a higher level of care is necessary.
Having an ambulance on-site significantly reduces response time during emergencies, allowing us to provide life-saving interventions without delay. Our dedicated team of on-call Paramedics, EMTs and drivers is available around the clock to facilitate safe and efficient patient transfers.
Our ambulance is outfitted with advanced medical equipment, including a Stryker LUCAS for automated CPR, infusion pumps, a transport ventilator, and a Zoll X Series® monitor with 12-lead EKG capabilities. This monitor also allows for wireless transmission of EKGs directly to receiving hospitals, ensuring continuity of care before the patient even arrives.
